Donnie Swaggart, the only son of Evangelist Jimmy and Frances Swaggart, grew up on the evangelistic field—traveling all across the United States as a child. Over time his father’s ministry grew to include national and international crusades, and Donnie served as Crusade Director. This effort saw hundreds of thousands—if not millions—of souls saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit in countries around the world.

Today, he is an integral part of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries, serving as Executive Vice-President of the organization. After working in an administrative capacity at the Ministry for much of his life, the time came when Donnie felt the call to the preaching ministry, and is now an Evangelist and Pastor of Family Worship Center Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. While always proclaiming a dynamic gospel message, the Lord has called him especially to preach and teach on the person and function of the Holy Spirit—seeing thousands filled with the Holy Spirit during his time in ministry. There is no question that his Pentecostal foundation is evident in every message preached.
Donnie and his wife Debbie are proud to say their entire family serve the Lord and are involved in ministry. They have three children—Jennifer (Clif), Gabriel (Jill), and Matthew (Joanna); and 9 grandchildren—Samantha, Ryder-Presley, Abby, Lola, Harper, Harrison, Caroline, Navy and Mackenzie.
His ministry travels have taken him across the United States, and also to numerous countries around the world, including South Africa, Australia, Scotland, England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Italy, Ukraine, Brazil, Mexico, Papua New Guinea, Nigeria, France, India, Canada, Belgium, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Paraguay, Argentina, Holland, Iceland and Uruguay.
